"A Farewell to Small Arms" the International Conference of NGOs in TOKYO was held on 7th and 8th of May 2005 successfully with about 600 auditors in total.

NGO representatives, researchers and journalists from 8 countries (Angola, Argentina, Japan, the Philippines, South Africa, Switzerland, Uganda and United Kingdom) attended as speakers or panelists. Chairpersons' statement was read by the co-chairpersons, Dr. Kuniko Inoguchi (Professor of Sophia University) and Ms Fusako Yanase (Chairperson of the board of AAR JAPAN).
